Ceiling Medical Pendant, the Medical Gas Pipeline System terminal equipment, is widely used in Operating Rooms / Operating Theatres, to supply medical gases, electricity power, and to load medical equipment for medical staff operating.

 

In a modern Operating Room / Operating Theatre, usually there is one set of Ceiling Medical Pendant installed. It is single arm or double arms surgery pendant, or anesthesia pendant, or endoscopic pendant, accordance to Operating Room’s function.

However, for some Operating Rooms / Operating Theatres, only one set of Ceiling Medical Pendant can not meet medical staffs’ operating requirements. So, 2 sets of different Ceiling Medical Pendants are installed in more and more Operating Rooms / Operating Theatres.

 

Thus, users have to face a question: how to place 2 sets of Ceiling Medical Pendants in the Operating Room / Operating Theatre?

 

In different countries’ Medical Gas Pipeline System installing regulations, there are no specific for Ceiling Medical Pendant location in Operating Room. Accordance with our experience, to place 2 sets of Ceiling Medical Pendants in the Operating Room as follow figure shows is a practicable designing:

 

 

 

This picture shows a Laminar Air Flow Ceiling system (with 8 pcs of Air Sealed Laminar Air Flow Clean Operating Room Lamp Panels) in an Operating Room. Size of this ceiling is 2600x1800mm.

Operating Table is usually installed under this ceiling system, and the Operating Table’s central us aligned with the ceiling system central.

 

Area 1: On the Operating Table head side.

Usually, single arm pendants, such as the Single Arm Surgery Pendant, Single Arm Anesthesia Pendant, etc. cab be installed in any place in area 1.

From installing point to Laminar Air Flow Ceiling central line (which is prependicular to the direction of Operating Table) shall be no more than 2000mm;

From installing proint to Laminar Air Flow Ceiling central line (which is parallel to the direction of Operating Table) shall be no more than 1000mm.

 

Area 2: On the Operating Table feet side.

Usually, the second Ceiling Medical Pendant, can be installed in any place in Area 2.

From installing point to Laminar Air Flow Ceiling central line (which is prependicular to the direction of Operating Table) shall be no more than 1000mm;

From installing proint to Laminar Air Flow Ceiling central line (which is parallel to the direction of Operating Table) shall be no more than 1500mm.
